Although Lime Rock owner John “Skip” Barber sold the Skip Barber Racing School more than a decade ago, the world’s leading driver-training organization remains one of the track’s more enduring icons. Its racing and driving schools are a nearly constant presence on the weekdays between April and November, while its multiple racing series – SBF2000 Regional, Skip Barber National and MAZDASPEED Challenge MX-5 series – also make multiple yearly visits. The school’s national headquarters are in nearby Lakeville, and Lime Rock is the most popular of the Skip Barber Racing School’s five base locations (Road Atlanta, Sebring, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Road America being the others).
If interested, you can reach School and Series Associates at 800.221.1131. The school’s website www.skipbarber.com is loaded with information – you can even book and pay online. Tell them Lime Rock sent ya!
