Among racers, Lime Rock’s “Tuesday Test & Tune” days have been a long and welcome tradition. For a nominal fee, everyone – from big, successful race teams such as Penske, Gibbs, Ganassi and Highcroft to your neighbor across the street with an SCCA Formula Vee – can spend the afternoon testing and tuning their cars and their driving.

Tuesday Test & Tunes are open to all race cars and their licensed drivers. Once Lime Rock race control knows which cars are coming, they are divided into groups of similar configurations and speeds. The goal is to give every team and driver as much track time as possible.

Only race cars that meet the current safety regulations of the sanctioning body under which it competes or tests are admitted, and drivers must present proof of a current racing competition license (such as but not limited to SCCA, IMSA, Grand-Am, VSCCA, SVRA, Vintage National License, RCCA, Pro-Rally, NASCAR, IRL, FIA, EMRA, CASC). Recent graduates (past 12 months) of an accredited three day (or more) racing school are also given eligibility consideration. Please contact the Lime Rock Park Track Office to verify eligibility or if you have any other questions.

Upcoming Events
SCCA_Club_Logo_2The next set of races at Lime Rock Park are the Sports Car Club of America NARRC run-offs, Friday and Saturday, October 1-2. “NARRC” stands for the North Atlantic Road Racing Championship, and the October 2 races are the season finales for every SCCA class in the Region: it determines who goes to the SCCA National Run-offs and who has to stay home! This is great racing, trust us – everything from the thundering GT1 Corvettes and Mustangs to the hyper-quick Formula Fords and Formula Vees are racing hard for double points. Advance tickets are $10, at the gate, $15. This is a great way to spend an early fall day at the Park, don’t miss it!
