Q: What should I bring to the track?

A: Lime Rock Park is truly a park that has a racetrack winding through it, so plan for a day at Lime Rock the same way you would plan for a day in the park. The track does not have bleachers or grandstands purposely to maintain the park-like feel, so plan to bring blankets or chairs to use on the spectator hillsides. Suntan lotion is always a good idea and since the events are rain or shine, an umbrella and rain jacket should be included in your backpack. Other suggestions are earplugs, camera, cooler and sharpie for autographs.

Q: Does the track have food concession areas?

A: Lime Rock Park has three concession areas offering a variety of food and snacks including the track’s Official Hot Dog by Grote & Weigel, hamburgers, fries, sandwiches and ready-made salads. A: No dogs allowed anywhere in the park or in the Paddock.

Q: Where do I park once I get to the track?

A: Parking at Lime Rock is always free and we have plenty of event parking staff who will show you exactly where to park when you arrive.  You just have to decide if you want to park in the Infield (enter through the Lime Rock Park Main Entrance off of Route 112 on White Hollow Road) or the Outfield (directly off of Route 112). Parking in the Outfield would require you to walk over the Pedestrian Bridge to have access to the Paddock. Handicapped parking is available in both the Infield and Outfield parking areas and a valid handicap-parking permit must be shown in order to park in the designated area. Our parking staff will direct you to the handicapped parking locations. All parking is convenient to the Spectator Hillsides and Viewing Areas, and we make the journey to the perfect spot on the hill even easier by providing Courtesy Golf Cart Shuttles to help you manage the kids and the cooler.

Q: What is the Paddock?
