Sunday in the Park Concours & Gathering of the Marques

The Sunday in the Park Concours d’Elegance and Gathering of the Marques – September 3, 2017 is a must-experience event for automobile enthusiasts. Labor Day weekend has been home to Lime Rock’s Historic Festival vintage racing on Friday, Saturday and Monday, and for over 20 years, on Sunday, the Lime Rock’s staff undertake the monumental task of putting on a first-class concours and car show on the race track itself. No other event in the U.S. combines a first-class Concours d’Elegance with quality vintage competition on the same property, all on the same weekend. Sunday in the Park is comprised of two features; nearly 300 outstanding entries are on display on the Sam Posey Straight in the Concours d’ Elegance, with an additional 800-plus cars celebrating the event around the rest of the 1.5-mile track in the Gathering of the Marques enthusiast meet. Interested in a rare automobiles, or in showing yours? You’ll find them here – and have a place to share yours – in the Concours d’Elegance. Want to celebrate Labor Day weekend with your like-minded car buddies in style? You can do that here, too – there is a section in Gathering of the Marques for every car enthusiast, broken down by marque or country of origin. The entry list is always a walk down the history of the automobile, and it’s all thanks to the participation of Lime Rock’s core supporters: you, the enthusiasts! To apply to show a vehicle in the judged Sunday in the Park Concours d’Elegance, you’ll need to submit an application, which can be found here: http://limerockhistorics.com/concours/entryapplication/. If accepted, there is no cost to enter a vehicle in the Concours d’Elegance. For questions on entering a car, you may email Ryan McIntosh, Event Coordinator, at SundayinthePark@limerock.com.
