The routed includes driving through the heart of Lakeville and Salisbury, CT, where parade-watchers will be waiting in anticipation. About an hour after the start, the parade of cars arrive in Falls Village for the Street Fair: Live music, entertainment, great food -- and hundreds of cars on display in the village green.

SUNDAY IN THE PARK - CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE:
The Sunday in the Park Concours and Gathering of the Marques is on the Sunday – this year, September 6, 2020 – between the two racing days of each year's Labor Day weekend Historic Festival. No other event in the U.S. combines a first-class concours d’elegance with quality vintage competition on the same property, all on the same weekend. Sunday in the Park is comprised of two features; nearly 200 outstanding entries are on display on the Sam Posey Straight in the Concours d’ Elegance, with an additional 800+ cars celebrating the event around the rest of the 1.5 mile track in the Gathering of the Marques enthusiast meet.
The 2020 Sunday in the Park Concours will be a superlative show of beauty, elegance and speed, with interesting and diverse classes, in a perfect ambiance. Sunday in the Park’s class titles convey our whimsical, unfussy approach. The cars are grouped by purpose and/or year, not exclusively by make and model.

Some notes on the Sunday in the Park judging process:
- We employ traditional Concours d' Elegance judging principals.
- It is the style, rarity, presentation and unique qualities of the car that count most.
- We encourage vehicles to be presented in as close to original configuration as possible.
- With this premise, our judges are not there to confirm itemized originality.
- Judges will ask to look ''under and in'' only when they feel it is necessary.
- Judges have the expertise to make sound evaluations, then good decisions, in about five minutes.
- Hoods should not be opened unless asked.
- Displays or "automobilia" of interest and other items specific to your vehicle are encouraged.
- Mechanical condition counts and from time to time, Judges may ask you to ''start-up,'' listening for that distinctive audio track your car makes.
The online application for participating in the Concours can be found at https://limerock.com/sunday-in-the-park-app. If you have questions, please contact Mitch@limerock.com or call Mitch Conroy at 860.435.5000, ext. 113.
