Skip Barber Racing School To Introduce F4 Formula Cars

When Skip Barber created the Skip Barber Racing School in 1975, the cars he offered to his eager students were Lola Formula Fords. After all, he was the SCCA Formula Ford Champion in both 1969 and 1970 and had gone on to race in Formula 1. Skip realized the cars would be a great classroom for budding racers.
Flash forward. It’s 2019. The Formula Fords are 50 years old and still running. The Skip Barber Racing School, under new dynamic leadership, has added the Mygale Formula 4. According to the School's Colin Chambers, the F4s deliver "simply the best race car driving school experience imaginable."
"The F4 is a racer's dream," Chambers said. "Beautifully designed and engineered, it’s a visceral experience that is simply amazing. These cars are incredible."
The F4's will be introduced at this year at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the home of Formula 1, the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

Will we get to drive the F4 in 2020? “Lime Rock is where it all began for us," Chambers offered. “This is our home track. Driving our new F4 car on the legendary 1.5-mile circuit would be an unforgettable experience.”
