There are two “Heads-up!” things we need to tell you regarding next week’s IMSA Northeast Grand Prix on Saturday, July 22.

The lower General Admission ticket prices you get by purchasing ahead of time expire tomorrow, Friday, July 14. For online purchases, the higher price kicks-in at 11:59 p.m.; phone call orders (860.435.5000) must be placed by 5:00 p.m.

This is really cool... As part of our ongoing 2017 celebration of Lime Rock’s 60th year, we are pulling together a very special Midway display of race cars, each one representative of an important era, championship or milestone in Lime Rock’s rich history.

Here’s what we’ve arranged thus far – with more to come.

Lime Rock’s early days: 1953 Jaguar C-Type
Trans-Am’s early years: 1966 Ford Mustang
Formula Atlantic: 1975 March 75B Formula Atlantic (ex-#69 Gilles Villeneuve)
80s IMSA GTP: Team Kreepy Krauly 1984 March-Porsche 84G and Dyson Racing 1983 Porsche 962
90s IMSA: Dyson Racing Lola-MG

We are working on leads to get cars for the Bob Sharp and Bob Tullius periods; the F5000 era; Lime Rock’s “Little Le Mans” era; and 70s and 2000s IMSA.

Not only will all these tremendous machines be displayed up on the Midway for you to get close to, we’re working on arranging a Saturday parade lap with as many of them as possible!

So if you’re coming to the IMSA Northeast Grand Prix featuring the WeatherTech SportsCar championship, get your tickets before Friday midnight.

Tickets for the Northeast Grand Prix are available today and tomorrow at the lower Advanced Purchase price level (expires Friday, July 14); click here to visit the IMSA ticket page.
