IMSA Northeast Grand Prix Race Day Photos

Oh, sure, you would expect someone who works for Lime Rock to say it was a terrific day of racing, with great weather and a big, enthusiastic crowd. But that’s not PR spin. It was absocertainly, positolutely great.

The third race of the day, the IMSA Northeast Grand Prix featuring the WeatherTech SportsCar championship, not only produced excellent battles up and down the GTLM and GTD field, but it was the first IMSA race without a full course yellow since VIR, 2015. Who says super-close, Lime Rock “bullring” racing can’t be driven hard but clean for almost three hours? And it was definitely fun to watch.

Take a look at the “total brill” photos taken today by Greg Clark and Brian Ciancio, the stellar LRP shooters, here.

On a final note... Lime Rock President Skip Barber wants to thank you, the fans, for coming to the track we’re all proud of. It’s you folks who made the day so fun and alive.
