Beware Of Traffic For Memorial Day Parades

Lime Rock will be the place to be for Memorial Day Monday. On your way here, stop by to experience one of the many Memorial Day Parades happening in our area. These parades may also affect your travel to Lime Rock Park. For your convenience, we’ve put together a short list of some of the area towns surrounding Lime Rock Park that are having parades. Enjoy them - or avoid them!

Here are some Connecticut parades happening on Monday:

Harwinton will have a parade that kicks off at 2pm and will shut down the roads surrounding the fairgrounds.
 
Litchfield’s parade starts at 9am and will shut down Rte. 63 as well as some other surrounding roads by the Town green.
 
Torrington’s parade begins at 9:30am.
 
Salisbury’s parade starts at 10am and will go through Main Street.
Main Street and Under Mountain Road will both be closed
 
Norfolk will be having a 5 mile road race throughout town.
Plan accordingly and look for the detour signs if this is on your route.
 
Winsted will have its parade at 11:30 and it will shut down Main and Division streets down to East End Park.
