Michael J. Fox Foundation Fundraising Continues
As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson’s research, the Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for the more than 6 million people worldwide who live with Parkinson’s disease. Since inception in 2000, this organization has funded more than $800 million in high-impact research around the world.
Lime Rock President Skip Barber expressed his personal passion for supporting this cause. “This charity is especially near and dear to our hearts, as our good friend and former race car driver Sam Posey has Parkinson’s. Sam has been a champion, not only on the track, but as an advocate for finding a cure for the disease. Through our fundraising efforts this year, we hope to have an impact on the lives of all of those who urgently need a cure, including Sam.”
