Sunday Royals Car Show Award Winners

The Sunday Royals Car Show presented by Hagerty celebrated its 10th year on Sunday, May 26, 2019, as part of the Trans Am Memorial Day Classic weekend. This family friendly hometown charity show run by the Royals family of Royals' Garage in Torrington, Conn, and Lime Rock Park, brought out more than 300 cars of all types from muscle cars, import/tuners, street rods, motorcycles, classic cars, antiques, race cars and more.

A significant crowd was on hand to enjoy a beautiful sunny, summer-like day along the Sam Posey Straight. Proceeds will be donated to the Sharon Playhouse.

This year, the event was bigger than ever with a tribute to the 55th anniversary of the Ford Mustang that included a special gathering of the Shelby American Automobile Club. In addition, the day included a Hagerty Cars & Caffeine show. Food trucks, beverage carts and vendors were among the cars parked along the track's front straight. On the hilltop under the hospitality tent, the second annual Farm-To-Track Picnic showcased farm fresh foods.

The Awards Ceremony was conducted by Glen and JR Royal of Royals Garage. Trophies were presented to the winners on the front straight of the road course in the following categories:
