Historic Festival 43 & Sunday In The Park
August 29 – September 1, 2025
Glorious racecars from bygone eras spend their Labor Day Weekend at Lime Rock Park doing what they were made to do: Go racing.
What’s Happening:
Historic Festival 43
Celebrating its 43rd year, the Lime Rock Historic Festival launches into action over Labor Day weekend with a 17-mile tour through the area with Thursday’s Vintage Race Car and Sports Car Parade. Friday, Saturday and Monday feature non-stop, on-track competition across a diverse set of historic racing classes.
On Sunday, the Lime Rock Concours and Gathering of the Marques display nearly 1,000 enthusiast cars and motorcycles arranged around the Lime Rock circuit.
Historic racing
The 43rd edition of the Lime Rock Historic Festival once again brings together an exciting and diverse field of historic racing machines for a Labor Day Weekend celebration of speed, sound and beauty with classes that range from pre-war open-wheel cars to the sports and formula cars of the postwar era.
More than racing, there’s also a swap meet, automobilia, featured speakers, concessions, and more to enjoy over the long weekend.
Check back shortly for more information on racing entry!
THE LIME ROCK CONCOURS
As a part of HF43’s Sunday in the Park, The Lime Rock Concours offers a special line up of beautiful and historic cars across several groups to vie for the Best-in-Show Award.
Dress in your Sunday best to wander around the Park and gander at the finest examples of automobiles and motorcycles in the northeast.
Concours entry will be opening soon — stay tuned for more information.
Gathering of the Marques
Sunday’s second event is the Gathering of the Marques, which hosts enthusiasts and clubs representing nearly every make and model, all arranged around the 1.5-mile Lime Rock course. With as many as 800 cars expected, the event will showcase an incredibly diverse display of cars grouped by make, model or country of origin. Check back for more information on registering for Gathering of the Marques in 2025.
HISTORIC FESTIVAL PARADE
The Historic Festival Parade is a 17-mile tour through local towns on some of the most scenic and entertaining roads in the northwest Connecticut, departing from Lime Rock Park at 5PM sharp. The parade concludes at the town of Falls Village with a street fair.
The parade is typically open to 2-door vehicles older than 1975 and race cars. Stay tuned for application information.
HONORED COLLECTOR
As part of Historic Festival, Lime Rock Park selects an Honored Collector to be celebrated throughout the weekend. Last year’s honored collector was Ross Myers, who displayed a beautiful collection of Ford race cars.
FEATURED MARQUE
As part of the Historic Festival tradition, Lime Rock Park selects a featured marque to be celebrated throughout the weekend. Last year, we celebrated Ford, highlighting the 60th Anniversary of the Mustang & the illustrious history of Ford Performance. Stay tuned for 2025’s Honored Marque announcement.
FEATURED RACE GROUPS
Celebrating Lime Rock Park’s illustrious racing history, a featured race group is selected to be highlighted on-track throughout the weekend. This year, TOYO TIRES Turn of the Century World Challenge (1995-2005) returns as a featured race group. Plus, we’ll have the all-Triumph Kastner Cup featured throughout the weekend.
