Access Roads  

Absolutely no Testing, Cool Downs, Brake Bedding, Burnouts, or Speeding is permitted on any roads at LRP, at any time. This activity is reserved for the restricted areas of the racetrack, proving grounds and skid pad only with permission from LRP management.  

 

 

Admission 

Lime Rock Park is a privately owned motor sports facility. All people entering the property must comply with facility rules, event requirements, and ticket or credflential policies. Lime Rock Park reserves the right to refuse admission or remove individuals for violations. 

• All sales are final.  Tickets are non-refundable.
• Track offices are closed during major events. Proceed to Will Call for assistance.
• General Admission tickets can be purchased on the day of the event.

Adverse Weather 

Track activity or Events may be stopped at times due to adverse weather. The Manager on Duty may call to cease all outdoor activity and call in all staff when lightning strikes within 8-10 miles of the Facility. Outdoor activity may resume after the last reported lightning strike and the Manager on Duty gives the all clear.

 

Alcohol  

Alcoholic beverages are permitted in the paddocks and pits fifteen (15) minutes after on-track activity has ceased for the day and until 10:00 p.m. Lime Rock Park has responsibility for ensuring compliance with policies regarding alcohol and/or other intoxicants. Lime Rock Park has the right to suspend driving privileges for any driver found to be out of compliance. No Glass bottles.

 

Bicycles  

Bicycles are allowed on the roads in the designated camping area until dark. Fans and participants may ride bicycles in the paddocks and on roadways only after track activity is complete (typically 6:00 pm.) Lime Rock Park reserves the right to impound any bicycles if they are being ridden in an unsafe manner (as judged by Lime Rock Park personnel)

Canopies 

Canopies or “EZ-Ups” will not be placed in front of any tent or facility designated as a hospitality area. There is a designated area at the top of spectator hill with signage where these will be allowed.

No outside food and beverage is to be brought into any concessions or hospitality area, including the pavilion without prior written approval!

Please note:

Children & Minors 

Children 12 and under are FREE with a paid adult. Minors under 18 are prohibited from hot pits and restricted areas. Minors in paddock areas must be supervised by a responsible adult. 

 

Conduct & Behavior 

All guests, participants, vendors, and staff must behave in a safe, respectful, and orderly manner. Disruptive, abusive, unsafe, or intoxicated behavior is prohibited and may result in removal without refund. 

 

Damage to Property  

All Participants, Spectators, and Guests of LRP are responsible for any property they damage while on the facility.  

 

Electric Vehicles (EVs)  

There are no public charging stations available at Lime Rock Park.

Environmental & Waste Disposal 

Fluid waste must be disposed of in designated containers. Dumping fluids or washing vehicles is prohibited except by approved vendors. Due to Connecticut law and D.E.P. regulations, no car washing is permitted anywhere at Lime Rock Park. However, washing of tractor trailers and other vehicles by a D.E.P.-compliant vendor with suitable wastewater recovery equipment is permitted.

Fences  

Areas inside the Track Fence or any spectator barriers (Rope or bicycle fence) are restricted areas and off-limits to the public.  At no time is anyone authorized to climb or modify a fence or bypass a gate.  Anything tied to or attached to any fencing must have been approved in writing by LRP.  

 

Fire Safety 

Open fires are not allowed anywhere on Lime Rock Park grounds (except in approved camping areas) and must be in containers designed for that purpose. No fires of any sort are allowed on the ground at any time anywhere. Small home grills, hibachis and small gas grills are permitted in the paddocks if operated at a safe distance from any flammable sources. Lime Rock Park reserves the right to determine what a safe distance from flammable sources is and what is an acceptable grill or hibachi.

You can bring a cooler with food and drinks, and there is no size restriction on the coolers. Please note: Glass bottles are prohibited at the track. Kindly bring beverages in cans or plastic bottles instead. 

 

Fuel  

When Lime Rock Park is open, you may purchase fuel at the VP fuel station in B Paddock. Fuel pumps require a credit card. No cash accepted. Lime Rock’s hours of operation vary depending on the event schedule; however, it is typically open Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm. Fuel is not available in the off season ( Nov-March)

Military Program  

Veterans and Active Military receive FREE General Admission into all major racing events. Thank you for your service! Please bring proof of service to ticketing booths upon arrival.  

 

Operating Hours & Noise Restrictions 

Track operations are limited by municipal noise regulations. On-track activity is permitted Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

 

Paddock Access  

The Paddock is where the race teams park their transporters. These transporters become temporary garages where the race mechanics prepare the race cars. Lime Rock Park has two Paddock areas — the A Paddock, which parallels pit lane, and the B Paddock, which is inside the Downhill corner. Paddocks are where you can see the race cars, drivers, engineers, and mechanics up close. Paddock access is free, and children under 18 are welcome in the Paddock accompanied by an adult.  No paddock access for NASCAR 

 

Parking Areas 

General Parking at Lime Rock is free and we have plenty of event parking staff who will show you exactly where to park when you arrive. If you want to park in the Infield (enter through Lime Rock Park Main Entrance, 60 White Hollow Road) or the Outfield (directly off of Route 112). Parking in the Outfield means a short walk over the pedestrian bridge at the end of the front straight. Handicapped parking is available in both the Infield, a valid handicap-parking permit must be shown to park in the designated area; we will direct you to the handicapped parking locations. All parking is convenient to the Spectator Hillsides and Viewing Areas, and we make the journey to the perfect spot on the hill even easier by providing Courtesy Golf Cart Shuttles to help you manage the kids and the cooler. 

Other option: Guaranteed Infield Parking spot on race day Saturday – regardless of when you arrive – for a fee of $35. We will hold a parking spot for you, even if you arrive just minutes before the green flag flies for the feature race! This does not mean we are charging for parking: If you want to park in the Infield for free, you must arrive early in the morning, and you will likely be parked in the Infield – but we can’t guarantee that. Remember, Guaranteed Infield Parking is simply a choice to guarantee that Lime Rock Park will save an Infield Parking spot for you regardless of when you arrive on race day Saturday.  

 

Pets 

We love our furry friends, but it is loud, hot and there are large crowds here during our events. LRP HIGHLY discourages bringing pets to the track. If pets are brought to the track, they must always be on a leash, controlled by the owner/handler.  

 

Photo/Video Rights 

Participants, Guests, and Spectators agree that while on Lime Rock Park Property, LRP or its designee may use your image or likeness in any photography and/or video that is captured while you are visiting the LRP Property.  You agree that your image or likeness may be reproduced by LRP or its designee in any advertising, website, promotional piece, or video that LRP or its designee creates, whether for use at the facility or for use in any advertising, broadcasting, or media outlets LRP or its designee chooses. You agree that any captured image of you is freely given while at LRP and that you will not attempt to restrict LRP’s or its designee’s use of your likeness/image or seek compensation for the same. All rights to broadcast, record, photograph, repeat, reproduce, or recreate LRP events are reserved by LRP. Those entering this facility agree not to take any action or cause others to take action that would infringe upon LRP’s rights.  

 

Pit Wall 

Painting, writing, or standing on pit lane and pit wall is prohibited.  

 

Policy Enforcement 

Lime Rock Park reserves the right to enforce policies, remove violators, and modify rules at any time. Any failure to abide by these Rules and Regulations may result in a non-refundable expulsion from Lime Rock Park. Please report violations to our Guest Services Building located at the Main Gate. 

 

Prohibited Items 

Weapons, fireworks, drones, illegal substances, and unsafe activities are prohibited on Lime Rock Park property. We do not allow a non-registerable vehicle under 125cc. Vehicles such as scooters and skating systems will not be allowed to operate on the premises of Lime Rock Park, including but not limited to the Racecourse or on access or paddock roads. 

 

Right of Way 

Drivers of any non-racing vehicle will yield the right of way to any Race Vehicle at all times.  Due to the constraints of safety equipment and vehicle design, drivers of racing vehicles may have limited visibility or mobility while operating their vehicles. Operators of racing vehicles will obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices to include instructions from LRP Security Staff. 

 

Shipping 

Renter or Race team shipping. Have packages shipped to Lime Rock Park c/o Guest Services: Main Gate, 60 White Hollow Road, Lakeville, CT 06039, Attn: Team Name. Shipments must be clearly marked with the team’s name. The packages will be delivered to Guest Services office and placed in the package tent awaiting your pickup and signature. Lime Rock Park will not be held responsible for any packages delivered to the track. 

 

Smoking  

Smoking in any LRP building is strictly forbidden and will not be tolerated.  Please place all extinguished cigarettes in the receptacles provided. Smoking is not permitted inside the “hot” fence of the track or on pit lane.  

 

Speed Limits 

Speed limit on LRP property is 10 MPH. All vehicles must Stop at Guest Services building at entry point to sign in during regular business hours. When entering the facility during a major event please Stop at the ticket booths to have your credentials checked before proceeding.
