Sunday in the Park: The Lime Rock Concours
Sunday in the Park comprises two events, the Lime Rock Concours, and the Gathering of the Marques, which both take place this year on Sunday, September 3, between the two racing days of the Labor Day weekend Lime Rock Historic Festival.
The 2023 Lime Rock Concours will feature nearly 200 outstanding invitation-only entries, all arranged along the Sam Posey Straight. The event will include a mix of general and specialized classes, each presenting an eclectic visual and technical perspective on the rich history and varied evolution of the automobile.
This year’s event will have a particular focus on the powerful Chrysler Hemi engine as it was deployed in vehicles that ranged from Vignale-bodied Cunningham sports coupes to ground-shaking Musclecars. This year also celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the MG brand with displays of competition, prewar and postwar examples.
