Catch a Glimpse of Historic Festival 41 at Lime Rock Park

Lime Rock Park set to stream Historic Festival 41 live, including special Sounds of Lime Rock presentation on Saturday

Lime Rock Park will give fans a never-seen-before glimpse into Historic Festival 41, offering an exclusive one-camera live stream that promises an unfiltered, unedited and unadulterated authentic experience for fans at home.

The ‘Glimpse of Historic Festival’ camera will be perched below the pedestrian bridge, allowing fans to witness nearly 300 vintage cars roar down the Sam Posey Straight throughout the four-day event (Sept. 1-4).

The Voice of Lime Rock Park, Greg Rickes, will lend his expertise to guide viewers through the racing, sharing history and stories behind the rare cars and their drivers as they lap Lime Rock Park. The live stream will begin daily at 9:00 a.m. ET, including coverage from Sunday in The Park and the spectacular Lime Rock Concours.

On Saturday, during lunch, a symphony of engines will fill the air as select vintage cars, including the legendary Maserati 151 Tipo, take 1 7/8 lap around the classic Lime Rock Park circuit for a special Sounds of Lime Rock presentation. The cars will be at-speed through Big Bend and Lefthander, for fans to hear the symphony of sounds in the paddock & on the hillside

Historic Festival 41, honoring Chrysler Performance and 100 Years of MG, launches into action on Thursday (Aug. 31) with a 17-mile tour through the area with Vintage Race Car and Sports Car Parade presented by NBT Bank. Friday, Saturday and Monday feature non-stop on-track competition from a diverse set of historic racing classes ranging from pre-war open-wheel cars to the sports and formula cars of the postwar era. MG, Formula Jr. and Sports 2000 are the featured race groups.

Sunday at The Park and the Lime Rock Concours will feature more than 1,000 classic cars and motorcycles arranged around the Lime Rock circuit.
