Sunday in the Park: The Lime Rock Concours

As a part of HF42’s Sunday in the Park, The Lime Rock Concours offers a distinguished line up of beautiful and historic cars across several groups that vie for Class Awards, Special Awards and the coveted Best-in-Show Award.

This year’s Concours will showcase the 60th anniversary of the Ford Mustang and celebrate the rich history of Ford Performance and Motorsports. Anchoring the event will be Honored Collector Ross Myers, a regular entrant in Historic Trans-Am and a long-time competitor at Lime Rock Park. As benefactor of the 3 Dog Garage Museum in Boyertown, Penna.,, Ross will be sharing a large variety of rare and significant Ford-powered racers, sports cars and hot rods from the museum that will be on display throughout the weekend and during Sunday in The Park.

In honor of Ford and the 3 Dog Garage, this year’s Concours will include several dedicated Ford classes that range from historic and modern Ford GTs to “Affordable Fords,” where we encourage all types of Ford collectors to share their barn finds, restorations, hot rods and customs. We’re also inviting owners of all generations of Mustangs to enter their cars in dedicated classes.

This year’s Lime Rock Concours will also include a number of special classes highlighting marques or milestones of particular interest. We will be showcasing the rich history of Lancia in both sports and competition cars. Another Italian feature will be cars bodied by renowned coachbuilder Touring. We’ll also be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911 and American Cars of the Nickel era. Finally, there will be a new class this year featuring Contemporary Coachbuilding that will display the artistry of current coachbuilders on both classic and modern chassis.
