IMSA Taking Hiatus from Lime Rock Park Schedule in 2024

Following an electrifying weekend held just last month during the FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix presented by LIQUI MOLY, the 2024 IMSA schedule will not include a Lime Rock Park event due to unavoidable scheduling conflicts. IMSA and Lime Rock Park are in ongoing conversations for a return to the Connecticut facility in 2025.

Lime Rock Park has been an integral part of the IMSA racing landscape for the last 51 years, offering fans and drivers an unforgettable racing experience. The track’s scenic beauty and challenging layout have played host to numerous legendary IMSA moments, etching itself as a marquee event on the Lime Rock Park annual schedule.

“After a record breaking FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix presented by LIQUI MOLY last month, it is unfortunate that IMSA will not be returning to Lime Rock Park until the 2025 season,” said Lime Rock Park President and CEO Dicky Riegel. “However Lime Rock Park has a vibrant partnership as well as a decades long history with IMSA and we understand the myriad challenges around scheduling for this international championship. Lime Rock Park recognizes the fervent support and passion of our fans for the IMSA content and we look forward to IMSA’s return in 2025 and beyond. We will continue to host a wide range of outstanding spectator events in 2024 and look forward to announcing the schedule soon.”

Lime Rock Park has three major public events remaining on its 2023 schedule, with the iconic venue hosting GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends (Aug. 18-20), the Historic Festival 41 (Aug. 31-Sept. 4) and the newly added MiataCon (Oct. 27-28). For more information, visit www.limerock.com
