Located in the Northwest Hills of Connecticut, Lime Rock Park not only provides a picturesque location for race fans to enjoy, but it’s easy to get to as well.
The Park is located between Boston and New York City and is easy to access from all points in the Northeast.
Mass Transit
MTA Metro North:
Lime Rock Park is located 15 miles from the Wassaic Train Station, the most northern stop on the Metro North – Harlem Line.
As of the summer of 2019, two Zipcars are available at the Wassaic Train Station for rent. Several taxi services operate out of the Wassaic Train Station, including Uber and Lyft.
Watson Livery is Lime Rock Park’s preferred transportation provider offering a variety of taxi options, including a shuttle bus service with per-person rates between Wassaic and Lime Rock Park. When accessing Lime Rock Park from the Metro North – Hudson Line, the Poughkeepsie Train Station is located 38 miles away and transportation options include Zipcar and taxi services, including Watson Livery. The Park can also be accessed from Metro North – New Haven Line via Danbury (45 miles) and Waterbury (40 miles).
Train Service:
Amtrak’s Empire Service Train, which runs to and from Buffalo, N.Y., and New York City, offers a stop 35 miles away in Rhinecliff, N.Y. Additional Amtrak lines provide service from Boston, Vermont and Maine to Springfield, Mass. (62 miles away) or Pittsfield, Mass. (43 miles away).
