SpeedTour All-Star Driver Bio: Ken Schrader
From dirt tracks to Daytona, Ken Schrader has conquered them all! A true champion across multiple disciplines, Schrader dominated the 1982 USAC Silver Crown Series and the 1983 USAC Thunder & Lightning Sprint Car Series, but it’s his time in NASCAR that gained him national recognition.
A veteran in the sport, Schrader’s 763 Cup, 116 Xfinity and 105 Truck Series starts rank him among the most active drivers in NASCAR’s 75-year history. While his four Cup wins and three Daytona 500 poles likely rank among his most unforgettable accomplishments, he has another special memory at Lime Rock Park–a victory in the inaugural Lime Rock 50.
The 1993 race was part of what is now known as the ARCA Menards Series East; Schrader took the lead on lap 8 and led all the way to the checkered flag. Don’t miss this versatile legend at the SpeedTour All-Star Race, July 19-20 at Lime Rock Park!
