NASCAR Set to Make Historic Debut at Lime Rock Park with LIUNA 150 Weekend June 27-28
LIUNA 150 brings economic impact to Lakeville and surrounding area
LAKEVILLE, Conn. (20 June 2025) — For the first time in its 68-year history, Lime Rock Park will stage a NASCAR national touring series event as the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series makes its debut appearance at the scenic Connecticut road course for the LIUNA 150 June 27–28. The event weekend will also feature races from the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Classic.
The event marks a turning point not only for Lime Rock Park but also for the region. More than 20,000 fans are expected to attend over the two days, representing what will be the largest crowd at the track in recent history.
Long before the green flag flies on the two-day event, the LIUNA 150 is already delivering economic benefit to the surrounding communities, with local businesses, restaurants and accommodations seeing increased demand leading up to the weekend. Hotels and Inns across Litchfield County and nearby towns are sold out as fans and race teams prepare to travel in from across the country. Last summer, less than 48 hours after the event was announced, Interlaken Inn, in Lakeville, was already fully booked.
“This is a watershed moment for Lime Rock Park,” said Dicky Riegel, President and CEO of Lime Rock Park. “We are honored to bring a major NASCAR series to our historic circuit and offer fans an entirely new experience. The combination of top-tier talent, grassroots excitement and immersive fan programming makes this an unforgettable addition to our calendar.”

On Friday, In addition to practice and qualifying from the ARCA Menards Series and testing from the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks, fans will also see retired race machines decked out in original liveries from decades past, connecting today’s fans to the sport’s storied legacy.
On Saturday, NASCAR Classic will take to the 1.5-mile circuit for the series final race in the morning, and in the afternoon, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will deliver high-intensity action as championship contenders go door-to-door around The Park’s classic 1.5-mile layout. The ARCA Menards Series will follow with a race of its own, featuring young drivers looking to make a name for themselves in front of a national audience.
Both the ARCA Menards (Friday from 11-11:45 a.m.) and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (Saturday from 8:15-9:00 a.m.) drivers will host autograph sessions that are open to the first 150 people in line.
