Lime Rock Park Announces 2026 Community Events Calendar Featuring Cars, Flowers, Dogs, Kilts and Gravel Roads
LAKEVILLE, CONN. (27 April, 2026) — Lime Rock Park is preparing to welcome back local residents, first-time visitors and longtime enthusiasts in 2026 with a full slate of community events designed to bring people together at the historic venue in new ways.
In addition to its lineup of professional and club racing events, Lime Rock Park will once again host a variety of community-focused events throughout the season, offering something for nearly every interest while continuing to support charitable organizations across the region. Over the years, these events have attracted thousands of visitors to The Park and helped raise thousands of dollars for local causes.
From free car shows and world-class garden shopping to dog competitions, Scottish heritage celebrations and a scenic gravel cycling adventure, Lime Rock Park’s 2026 community calendar will once again showcase the venue from a different perspective.
“Lime Rock Park has always been more than a race track,” said Lime Rock Park President and CEO Dicky Riegel. “These community events give people a chance to experience the property in ways that are fun, welcoming and meaningful, while also supporting important organizations throughout our region.”
Spend Sundays at The Park
FCP Euro returns to Lime Rock Park in 2026 for the popular Sunday Motoring Meets as part of the Sundays at The Park series. Running from May through October, the free seasonal gatherings will once again welcome a wide range of makes and models, from Volvos and Saabs to BMWs and Mini Coopers.
The series has become a favorite among local enthusiasts, drawing thousands of attendees each year and averaging roughly 600 participant vehicles per event in 2025. This season, the meets will begin at a new start time of 9:30 a.m.
The Sundays at The Park schedule will also include the Royals’ Garage Car Show on May 24. Later in the season, the Sunday in the Park Concours and Gathering of the Marques will return on Sept. 6 as part of Historic Festival 44, filling the 1.5-mile circuit with nearly 1,000 enthusiast cars and motorcycles.
Let’s Trade Secrets
For more than 20 years, thousands of garden, antique and design enthusiasts have made the trip to Connecticut for Trade Secrets, including notable guests, including Martha Stewart. In 2026, the celebrated event returns to Lime Rock Park for its fifth year at the venue and will take place on May 17.
Known as the “garden event of the year,” Trade Secrets is a rare plant, garden and antiques sale that benefits Project SAGE (formerly Women’s Support Services). Founded in 1981, the nonprofit serves people in Connecticut’s northwest corner who have experienced domestic violence or abuse.
Visitors can expect more than 50 specialty plant and antique vendors, along with access to extraordinary public and private garden tours throughout the region.
Strut a Mutt
Dogs of every size, shape and personality will take center stage at Lime Rock Park on June 7 for the Great Country Mutt Show.
A Westminster-style celebration with a more playful spirit, the Great Country Mutt Show welcomes dogs of all breeds and creeds to compete in categories ranging from “Best Mask” to “Best Lapdog Over 40 Pounds” to “Sweetest Pair.” Beyond the ring, attendees can enjoy a pet-and-owner fashion show, raffles, an auction, live music, food trucks and more.
The event is free and open to the public, participating dogs require an entry fee that benefits the Little Guild Animal Rescue in Cornwall, Connecticut.
Wear a Kilt
The Litchfield Hills Highland Games return to Lime Rock Park on September 27 for a full day of Scottish tradition and celebration.
The event will feature classic heavy athletics, clan and society gatherings, pipe bands, Scottish food and drink, vendors, faux haggis toss, children’s activities, crafts, falconry, herding demonstrations, Scottish musical entertainment, British cars and motorbikes, whisky tastings and the Kilted Mile for adults and youth.
Blending heritage, competition and family-friendly entertainment, the Highland Games continue to be one of the most distinctive events on the Lime Rock Park calendar.
Take an Epic Ride
The Lime Rock Epic gravel fondo returns on October 11 for its fifth year, once again sending cyclists out from Lime Rock Park and into the scenic backroads of Connecticut and the Berkshires.
Designed as a cornerstone for a memorable fall cycling weekend, the ride winds past waterfalls, covered bridges and rolling countryside at peak autumn color, while also incorporating sections of the long-forgotten Lime Rock Park Mountain Course.
Participants will have three route options. The Epic covers 68 miles and features nearly 6,000 feet of climbing and 13 unpaved sectors. The Explorer spans 46 miles with nearly 4,000 feet of climbing and 10 unpaved sectors. For beginners and novice riders, the Express offers a gentler 18-mile route with just two easy dirt road sectors.
