LAKEVILLE, CT (20 May 2022) – Lime Rock Park announced today that Salisbury Bank will expand its long-term partnership with the track to become the Official Banking Partner of Lime Rock Park. 

Continuing its commitment to investing in its community, Salisbury Bank will also sponsor the Historic Festival Vintage Racecar & Sports Car Parade (September 1), a 17-mile tour through local towns on some of the most scenic and entertaining roads in northwest Connecticut, including a route through Salisbury, Connecticut, the home of Salisbury Bank.

In addition to becoming the Official Banking Partner and sponsoring the Vintage Racecar & Sports Car Parade, Salisbury Bank will utilize the facility to develop personal relationships with the community, hosting a myriad of driving programs and employee appreciation days at Lime Rock Park, including the upcoming private EV racing and educational track event on June 2 organized by Skip Barber.

About Historic Festival 40:

During the extended Labor Day weekend, the Historic Festival celebrates the speed, sound and beauty of pre-war cars along with sports and formula cars ranging from the 1950s through the 1980s.  The five-day festival includes more than just racing, with a parade on Thursday afternoon, a competitor dinner on Friday, a special guest speaker and dinner on Saturday, Sunday in the Park Concours d’Elegance as well as the Gathering of the Marques, followed by racing capping off the event on Monday. Fans attending the event can also enjoy a swap meet, automobilia concessions, book signings, featured speakers and more. This year’s festival will celebrate Corvette as the featured marque.
