LAKEVILLE, CONN. (29 April 2025)– As Trade Secrets celebrates its 25th anniversary this May, the event will be offering a unique opportunity for garden lovers and enthusiasts to meet some of the most celebrated authors in horticulture, design and lifestyle. This year’s event, benefiting Project SAGE, will feature a series of exclusive book signings with leading figures in the gardening world, including the legendary Martha Stewart.
The book signings will take place at the Rare Plants & Garden Antiques Sale at Lime Rock Park on Sunday, May 18th, offering attendees a chance to meet these celebrated authors in person while browsing a unique selection of rare plants and garden antiques from some of the finest growers and dealers in the country. It’s the perfect setting for garden enthusiasts to connect with authors, purchase books and explore one-of-a-kind garden treasures.
“Trade Secrets began as a small event on our property and over the course of 25 years has grown into a horticultural event that attracts attendees from across the country and around the world,” says Bunny Williams, one of the founders of Trade Secrets. “The annual event is the major fundraiser for Project SAGE, which supports those affected by domestic violence. They have been able to expand their reach significantly thanks to this extraordinary event. It’s also a wonderful place to discover rare and interesting plants and antiques, and every year I fall in love with something new for my garden.”
Trade Secrets, part of Lime Rock Park’s Community Events, is one of the region’s premier fundraising events, benefiting Project SAGE, which serves those affected by domestic violence. The event will raise critical funds for the organization’s vital community programs.
