LAKEVILLE, CONN. ( 25 Aug. 2022)- Lime Rock Park’s famous “No Name Straight” will finally get a name on Sat., Sept. 3 as part of the Historic Festival 40 presented by Corvette festivities.

The dedication ceremony will start at 5:45 p.m. Eastern with a historic Corvette parade lap circling the original Lime Rock Park circuit before Skip Barber, Lime Rock executives and special guests reveal the new name.

Fans are encouraged to stay for the complimentary dedication toast on Spectator Hill to celebrate this historic event. The ceremony adds to the already packed Historic Festival presented by Corvette (Sept. 1-5) schedule.

The 40th edition of the Lime Rock Historic Festival once again brings together an exciting and diverse field of historic racing machines for a Labor Day weekend celebration of speed, sound and beauty with classes that range from pre-war open-wheel cars to Historic Trans Am and the sports to formula cars of the postwar era.

More than racing, the weekend also includes a swap meet, automobilia concessions, book signings, featured speakers, the Salisbury Bank Vintage Racecar & Sports Car Parade on Thursday, the Sunday in The Park presented by FCP Euro, featuring the Lime Rock Concours with a dozen Corvette concept cars, plus more to enjoy over the long weekend.
